Well that's actually pretty neat. I don't think I ever saw this scene in the comics... Though I barely remembered Ninjara normally. I don't think I had many issues with her.

I do kinda like that they're kind of redoing Raph and his fox gal love interest in the IDW comics with Alopex and him. I guess Ninjara's owned by the creator still and can't be used by anyone for anything. Ah this really is pretty though, very cool.

Oh! The SDCC Nickelodeon Nick panel! David Tennant (Doctor Who to me!) is going to be voicing the Fugitoid, Lance Hendrickson is going to be Zog (so yay, triceratons! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg7jQNwW7mY), they're also doing Lord Dregg from the final season or two of the 80s show. Interesting stuff.

Thanks. I was kinda wondering about the Ninjara thing. Someone linked me to an issue of Furlough that had her in it. Future Raph does or did get another fox girl in the future storyline they did back then. They never got much of a chance to say much about her though as the series ended soon afterwards.

OOOOH! Dr. Who as the Fugitoid! That's really good! I saw the figures for him! And Triceratons! Was wondering when they'd show up. And Lord Dregg?!?!?!? WOW! That's pretty cool too. Neat, neat, neat. I still hafta catch up with all those. I'm wanting to get a season 2 boxset but I may hafta just settle for buying however many DVD sets they did for that season.

I don't know much about Future Raphael, but I do know that it's nice to see that he is showing a mature side next to Ninjara which is a neat contrast compared to his younger self and the naughty thoughts he's probably thinking of. If nothing else, the older version of Raph probably misses his timeline's version of Ninjara. Either way, having Future Raphael lean against her was a good idea.

The nice thing about that scene is that he lets himself lean next to her. I think that's why I like it. I think he & Future Don are from 100 years in the future. He gave his younger self some talkings to as well. :D

But yeah, what I like about that scene other than the ... scene itself, is that Future Raph seemed to allow himself a little physical contact with Ninjara.

I always did love Ninjara though., and was so upset when the Archie comics series got canned after the Moon Eyes arc.

Speaking of the Moon Eyes arc, did you notice how the covers didn't quite match the story?

There was a mini series that ran for about five issues. It was kind of a product tie-in because it was all about the future turtles and they wore their Cyber Samurai armor to go with the toys coming out about then.. (Donny built Iron Man Suits!) It actually followed all four of 'em in the future dealing with Verminator X, a brain-stealing alien, and a meteor dooming the Earth. I thought it was surprisingly good considering it was, at least on the surface, a shill.

But you got to See Raph running his bar and being all doom and gloom talking to Ninjara-With-Dreads-And-Guns Mezkal, Mikey works with orphans, Leo has a dojo and Don.. does science.

I'm guessing you read it too, but Raph and Mez were in bed together at one point. I can only assume with Archie Comics being pretty family friendly overall, and mutants not being a secret any more, they probably tied the knot.

Moon Eyes was such a downer for me though. I loved Ninjara, loved her with Raph.. they broke up and.... series cancelled.

Yeah. I just read the Cyber Turtles story. It was pretty good... Don kinda saved Verminator at the end. Yeah. That's really the only info they give about Mezkal. A long time ago, before I read that issue, I was wondering why Ninjara had lived so long.

Yeah, that series ended abruptly... or at least, without any sort of announcement I could see. I just now found out about the Future Wars story.

With the Moon Eyes story, the covers show Ninjara clinging to that wolf guy and then attacking Raph & she's all dressed kinda... like a ... slutty native or something. It didn't happen in the story though. She was getting all tired and fainty so, I kinda think they were having her drugged but the writers changed their minds.

I saw him at TRU the other day. I figured I'd get him later since I couldn't find anything else I wanted to buy. I did buy the new Napoleon Bonafrog and that Dark Beaver. I like them a lot even if they're really lacking paint apps.
