eclipsis has finally given us a glimpse of a character mentioned as a one-off in a story of mine, who has since been transformed into one of the top deities of the entire Æsir Pantheon. Charity is the head goddess of pretty much any universe that contains primarily Pokemorph-based life forms. She's no longer the immediate deity in charge of any one cosmos in particular, but as you start rising up the chain of command in the Pantheon, Charity is one of the powerful few who report directly up to the Æsir themselves, and who have full authority over the innumerable lesser deities below them. Sort of like the hierarchy of a business or corporation...
... Which just so happens to be the motif that Charity uses to keep her worlds organized! Going beyond just her outfits and mannerisms, she keeps a very business-minded philosophy to her duties. Of course, her 'corporation' is benevolence-driven rather than profit-driven, but she's still staggeringly effective at it. Some of her underlings find it a little grating, sometimes, but at least she's consistent.
Besides being ridiculously powerful and respected, Charity is also famous for her oversized, oversensitive, overpampered paws. Even back countless ages ago, before she was promoted from a successful mortal businesswoman to a fledgling goddess, her huge paws were never without a dedicated team of attendees and massage experts. And now, after many promotions, Vice-Chief-Goddess Charity has an entire divine corporate division exclusively for the purposes of ensuring 100% uptime on paw worship. It's far and away the most popular branch, even if the hours do tend a bit long.
As an interesting side note, although Charity is certainly the highest-ranking Pokemorph in the Æsir Pantheon, she recently lost the title of most-powerful Pokemorph to an up-and-coming newbie. There's certainly no bad blood between the two: Charity is proud to see such unprecedented efficiency, and the other goddess is grateful for someone with experience to guide her. But there's no doubt in anyone's mind that Charity's eventual successor will be the fluffy, gentle, almost-unprecedentedly growy Karin... Once Karin realizes she's already overqualified for the job, anyway!
