So... that's a fox in a red-panda hoodie? Or a Red Panda in a red panda hoodie. Very cool picture.
Actually, I'll say a little more. It works, the way the character is facing away into the distance, and the distance includes a winding path that disappears into the woods. Compositional balance is good, the character to the side effectively emphasizes the path, making her less of the focus and giving the impression that the picture is about the journey, not the moment.
Also, you found a nice location, without any trash or signs in sight, and all the the plants healthy looking. I think that gives the picture a timelessness, in the way a 'Danger Coyotes' sign wouldn't. Backpack is a little 'modern' but the pattern matches the nearby tree, so it works and largely disappears instead of distracts.
Actually, my only criticism is the red shoes. Given the brown-tones of the character, I think she would have been better off with shoes that match the rest of her. As they are, they stand out. Unless of course, the idea was to make the red shoes noticeable, in which case it was an excellent choice. I can't recall any specific symbolism of red shoes, beyond a very tangential relationship to little red riding hood, in the sense of the riding hood is red, except this character has an animal hoodie, so instead her shoes are red. If that is the connection and it's meant to evoke "Into the Woods" verrrrrrry indirectly, then... wow. Amazing job of symbolism.
