I was always rather fond of Stiletto, the crow-lackey behind Silas Greenback, the frog.

In the British version he had an Italian accent, but in the American version they changed it to Cockney. The only time you hear his voice unchanged is when he pretends to be a fortune teller and hypnotizes Penfold into going on the roller coaster

Penfold in hypnotized voice "I want to go on the roller coaster, I will not tell you it is a trap."
DM "Fine Penfold, then don't tell me it is a trap"

She's the greatest, she's fantastic. Where ever there is trouble she'l be there... lol Loved that show as a kid, what little I saw. Still remember it quite well.

I loved that show... I always thought something was strange where they were driving on the opposite side of the car and I could never figure it out. ^_^ ah to be a naive kid again ^_^

I'm just young enough to not remember that show, so I kinda missed the reference. Regardless, it's a great pic!

I have to say, I remember that show, I liked it's spin off "Count Duckula" a little better, but then again anything made by England was funny if one had an odd sense of humor. Ah, memories before heavy censorship.

Here we find Dangermouse, the worlds greatest secret agent, and Penfold (the worlds worst assistant) attempting to scale its dizzying heights. Our hero taking his ease on its west face and his assistant taking his ease dangling on a piece of closeline.

<DM> ".. by the way penfold.. what are you reading down there..?"
<P> " OH its a smashing story Dm.. all about a White Hamster Secret agent..."
<DM> *sighs* " oh never mind..."

Or, if you grew up in french as I did, "Dare Dare Motus" (they had to make the initials mean something after all!)

I got all of the boxed sets for this show. I loved it when I was a kids and still at age 33.

Thanks, Ronzo. Now that I think of it, Danger Mouse would've been better if the gender was female.

My favorite episode was the Cloud Machine! When Penfold says, "Cor, me, eh? Anything I say.... WOW!" Then the word with flowers in it appears over them. Priceless. I still remembered that episode after 25 years.

If she's cuasing the danger, then its gotta be fun.
