If you do that, I'd recommend strawberries over raspberries, as they're at least a little easier to keep under control once they actually get going. My dad's still got raspberry bushes at his house, and it's about all he can do to keep them tied up so they don't fall all over the place or spread out into the yard. Plus, strawberry plants have a lot less thorns on them.
