He decided to sleep behind the computer chair (mistake on his part. and a camera was at hand so i took a picture. He thought i was trying to steal his bone. After the picture he ran off with it. Oh and his name is Famous. Famous hunnybunny shasta dynomite. I sure as hell didn't name him.

Ours was a giant fuzz ball too, but she was absolutely cute and gentle. And scared out by anything loud, like thunderstorms. She used to crawl under my bed (which was quite narrow, but she squeezed herself under it), spending all night down there panting and shaking. Poor giant fuzzball.
Mine's afraid of loud things too. he runs to the room I'm in and hides in nearest corner. We had huge fireworks going off near our house and he actually pooped while running away when we first got him. my parents decided to watch them while i stayed with him. I think it is an Airedale thing to be afraid of loud noises.
Normally not, as they are even used as reliable police dogs in some countries (AFAIK Great Britain), and they are known for their calm and relaxed self.
But perhaps they are a little over-bred and only loose the noise fear after a long training...
Anyway, it is a great dog, the Airedale :)
