It was a generally normally evening one night, as Lithius Bennett, a shy and sort of quiet canine was making his way home after getting himself mugged by a group of thugs, after taking his car after he was returning home from a failed date.

"Jeez.. First my date never showed up, then I get myself jacked by a group of thugs" Lithius said with a sad note in his tone of voice
"Could this day get any worse!" Lithius exclaimed as he was walking home getting mud on his shoes and jeans as it was raining not long after he was mugged.

As he walked on, he saw the clouds were parting and saw that his home wasn't far to go, when he noticed something in the sky.

"Hmm?... What is that?!" Lithius exclaimed as the object was getting closer towards him, with in seconds it was hurtling straight towards him at a record pace.

"Woah!! It's heading towards me!!" Lithius let out a frightened yell as he was the asteroid coming close enough as he ducked out of the way just as it reached his height, before it landed in the ground, the bouncing twice before grinding to a halt against a rock.

"Oh man.. That was too close! I can't believe I was that lucky to survive..!" Lithius said as he let out a huge sigh of relief before getting up of the road as he the went over to the asteroid.

"Wow.. an asteroid this huge.. it could be worth a fortune going into a museum for anyone to see.. It could help my family out for the price it could fetch!" Lithius exclaimed as he looked at the asteroid. However was he went to touch the asteroid, he felt it was very cold for some reason.

"Huh.. That's strange? An asteroid this large should be this cold.. it even feels as if it's roughed up metal.." Lithius exclaimed as he investigated the asteroid, when then placed his hand over a section of the asteroid, it sounded as if it was booting up.

"What the...? Is..is this some sort of machine and not an asteroid itself..?" Lithius said being a little confused about what's going on as he then saw something about to start up as a small screen began coming up on the asteroid, as it flickers before a unusual language appears on the screen.

"What is it doing..? Lithius said to himself as the asteroid then produced a small camera like object as it then scanned around the location.

"Scanning Area, Data analysis starting" exclaimed the asteroid as little lines appeared from the camera and scanned the entire location around the crash site.

"It's scanning the area.. including me?" Lithius said as the scan finishes

"Scanning Complete, One life form in range" Exclaimed the asteroid as he then saw the screen flicker as a canine looking creature can be seen on the screen"

"Hello.. Hello.. Is anyone there..?" said the canine creature on the screen as Lithius stepped forward.

"Hmm.. What's this all about then.." Lithius said as he stepped towards the asteroid, seeing the creature on screen.

"If anyone is seeing this right now.. My name is Archibald Rejio.. From a planet far more advanced than your planet is.. I have got much time.." Archibald exclaimed as rumbling and sounds chaos is happening outside as he speaks.

"Our planet is under attack.. from Emperor Jerziu, a ruthless alien that is trying to take over the universe.." Archibald exclaimed with worry on his tone of voice.

"Many of my people are either dead or mostly enslaved by this mad creature by the time this has reached the planet you are from right now! I've placed a copy of our planet's technology and the powers of a fallen hero inside this asteroid.. So that someone somewhere will take on the legacy of our people and restore order wherever it is needed!" Archibald exclaimed from the footage, as more chaos happens outside..

"Good heavens..." Lithius said as he notices a small panel opening that looks to have a hand shape appearing as the video continues.

"Place your hand within the mesh.. once you do, it will scan your hand and will identify what planet and breed you are from.. once it happens the administration of our fallen hero's powers will be transferred into you, with your permission granted of course.." Archibald exclaimed as he building shakes more.

"My our gods guide you on your journey my friend.. Godspeed!!" Archibald exclaimed before the transmission ends.

"Should I be responsible to keep their legacy running.. Who was there hero..? Will I be able to do it right..?" Lithius questioned as he pondered whether or not he should place his hand down on the asteroid's scanning mesh.

"If it landed for me.. then this is destiny for a new change of life!" Lithius shouted out as he placed his hand on the scanner, hearing the asteroid scan his hand as the mesh squirmed and wiggled a little.

"Scanning Lifeform, Lifeform confirmed. Species, Canine origin, Planet of origin, Earth." The asteroid exclaimed out as Lithius seemed a bit confused

"Wow.. it knew that quickly" Lithius said as the asteroid the shows on the screen a command to either activate or deactivate power transfer.

"Lifeform, Choose a command for me to perform" the asteroid said to Lithius as he looks at the asteroid.

"Archibald.. I shall do this.. Asteroid.. Activate!" Lithius said as the asteroid then started to power up.

"Command accepted, Starting Power Transfer!" the asteroid said, before small needles began to poke into Lithius's hand.

"Ouch.. Hey!.. That Smarts dang it! *he said as he then pulls his hand out of the mesh to check his hand as the needle marks are shown before they begin fading away.

"Huh.. There gone.. And they didn't bleed either.." Lithius said before he felt his hand getting a little warm as he noticed the mesh on his hand moving down from his hand and starting to spread around his wrist.

"Wh..what the.. It's spreading... What is it doing!" Lithius said in a worried voice as he started feeling the warmth in his hand slowly spread up his arm at the same pace as the mesh was moving as he felt something happening.

"Ohh.. what's... going on... it feels so.. strange.." Lithius said as the effects were starting to build on him as he could feel the mesh expanding around under his button shirt as it began to spread across his chest as he felt the energy inside spreading around him too.

"Oh.. man.. what is this feeling.. I feel like something.. is making me feel.. stronger!" Lithius said with a slight twinge of enjoyment in his voice as he began to feel the mesh spreading around his upper torso as he felt his muscles beginning to pulse and twitch.

"Uh... I.. is it making me.. bigger?" Lithius said as he began to feel his muscles expanding out slowly and surely as his button shirt begins to tighten into his upper torso, as the warmth began to spread down his torso too like the mesh expanded down and soon was covered covered in the mesh.

"This is.. incredible... I feel.. like his energy is.. gonna make me burst out" Lithius said as he felt his chest expanding out causing a button to pop away from his shirt, as he saw the mesh was changing from the grey colour into a maroon colour.

"Maroon.. That's one of my favorite colours... How.. how did it know that.." Lithius said as he saw more buttons popping off as he saw the emblem for the first time, a Double M symbol that overlapped, in a darkish blue and white that was shown over his chest that was exposed.

"A Double M emblem.. Was this their former hero's emblem.." Lithius said as he felt more buttons popping off as this muscles grew more and more, Slowly and surely his civilian clothing was ripping and shredding off like a second skin was peeled off as he soon was exposed in the full heroic costume excluding the eye mask.

"Power Transfer complete, Registered down as Mega Mutt" the asteroid said as the asteroid opened up a small compartment with an eye mask inside.

"The last part of the costume?" Lithius said as he pulled it out from the compartment as he then placed the eye mask onto his face as it fit perfectly on one go.

"Asteroid shutting down", the asteroid said before closing the compartment and then shutting off.

"Hmm.. I wonder what powers this "Mega Mutt" used to have", Lithius pondered as he then tested on his powers. He then found out that he had super strength, speed, flight, x-ray vision, ice breath and heat vision in a bundle, before returning to the asteroid with a smile on his face.

"Wow.. this.. this is amazing.. Look out Emperor Jerziu, A new Mega Mutt is in the universe and he will prevent you from taking over this planet!", Lithius said proudly pointing to the night sky, as he then picked up the asteroid and flew back to his parents home and placing the asteroid inside the basement of his parent's home

"But first, it's time to get a little justice from tonight!", Lithius said as he got out of the basement and flew up into the night sky and flew after the thugs who stole his car.
