WORD! We've got one of those kinds of bands over here, too... the Barenaked Ladies... although, recently they went from weird in a "good" kinda way to weird in an "Oh, shit, cocaine arrest!!" kinda way. (Oh well... Postcards with Chimpanzees FTW!)

Oh hey, I love the Barenaked Ladies. Got two of their albums, Stunt and Gordon. Did a bit of their money and fame get to them and they went all 'mainstream' (i.e. drugs, outrageous public behavior, TV's/cleaning maids from motel room windows into the pool, etc)?

Anime hairdos fail to exist on any logical plane far worse than this Ryuka's does, but that hasn't stopped the, uh, billions upon billions of fanarts out there of Super Saiyans and Yu-gis and Seymours. Maybe its because deep down inside, we ALL wish we had a physics-defying level of control over our hair, too. *Pokes at own cowlick.*

In that sense, Ryuka is almost like some kind of follicular hero. And the fact that he has some freakish musical theater fetish? Weeellll... according to Stan Lee, every hero's gotta have a character flaw.
