The city was silent to her as she stood above, whether from distance or from awe- it was impossible to say. The deafening cacophony of everyday life, the roaring thunder of the machinery, the flowing tsunamis of movement... All of it, too small and inconsequential to register. She leaned down to get a closer look, perking a fluffy ear, but even still her senses could not detect even the faintest disturbance. She had found a way to get away from it all; a way to bring life to a momentary standstill.
More detailed work of massive paws and the cities that so often find themselves nearby them, by
eclipsis. As much as I adore the artwork, I'll admit it can sometimes be a little tough to come up with a story to accompany a scene like this... But the beautiful setting is well worth it, when a vignette properly clicks.
