So I was rummaging around some papers from many years ago (why I kept them I do not know) and I found this little folded up paper amongst the debris. It is a poem I had written about 5 or 6 years ago I think. It is perhaps a more "emo" piece but I like it nonetheless. I did make a few minor alterations in it before uploading it to make it more gender neutral. Why? I don't know, just because it works both ways I suppose.

Also, I'm aware that lines 11 and 12 are from a song :p I either didn't realize that at the time of creation or didn't care. Anyway, in my scrap pile it goes :)
