I wanted to write a comment from the beginning, but it took me some day to find the time, so, yeah, here it is.^^
I really like this pic, I have to say in advance that I cannot rate anatomically correctness, but at least I can give my personal opinion.^^
The sad expression really turned out good and I think the face in general is done really nice.
Her ears look very nice and cute and the white and dark-red colour provide a very nice contrast to the general fur colour.
The muzzle also looks very cute, even with that sad look on her face.
I have to say that I really love her eyes, the different yellow to red colours as well as the general shape and look are great an fit wonderful to her hair colour. Like the general facial expression the eyes really succeed at showing the sad emotion and together with all the little reflections just look wonderful.
I personally like her hairstyle and especially the colours of her hair. I think it's a very nice combination to see part of her hair nearly totally flat while the hairs further back stand up a bit.
The same applies to the fur on her tail, it also looks cool and has the same nice colour.
Regarding her body I have to repeat what I said in the beginning, I cannot rate anatomically correctness, but I can say that I personally think it looks quite good. The colour is nice and her fur in general looks also quite good.
The drawing has a very nice atmosphere, well, as far as you can call something sad "nice atmosphere", but I think that especially this sadness is shown very good. The snow looks very nice in general and especially where it landed on her, for example on those cute ears.
So, that's my personal opinion. I think she's really cute and the pic does indeed look very nice, I wouldn't have guessed it's your first lion. I hope she (and so, you) will get rid of her sadness soon and maybe we will be able to see her in another pic smiling then. I'd certainly love to see that, too.
