So, I did a little soul-searching a while back. I decided to find out what my totem animal is After a lot of research and whatnot, I discovered that it in fact is a wolf. I didn't think it would be that obvious, but I really have always felt a connection to wolves so it shouldn't be a surprise. The real surprise is when I found out that I have a second totem animal. While my main totem is a wolf, my second turned out to be a deer. Strange, that I'm represented by both the hunter, and the hunted...and other similar deep philisophical things like that>>
Soooo, I decided to fuse the two together to make this fine creature you see here. I guess in a way he's my true fursona, if you think about it. Name? I'm not sure yet. I'll find out in time. It starts with a K, or has a k in it, that's all I know right now.
Umm, more about the pic. I tried really hard to have an even amount of wolf and deer traits. Once it's colored it'll be easier to tell, I suppose. My favorite things about him are his hoof-paws and his necklace. I got the paw idea from seeing how people with hooved fursonas draw their characters in anthro form. So I just translated that to wolf paws. The necklace is a dreamcatcher(which my scanner decided to WARP), with two beads and a big feather. I actually own a feather like that- I got it at a Native American festival. Very appropriate for my totem. I also read that feathers are an important symbol with totem animals, so there you go.
I'll be digitally coloring the head-on shot, and expanding on it. The rest... I might do something with my Prisma markers.Wait and see.

Nooo, I wanted to be special! XD naw, but I guess I should've figured. There's only so many totem animals, so it makes sense that someone would've gotten that too. Which I'm guessing is what that fursuiter is, since I don't know anyone who loves deer that much lol
Find it! It's not easy at first. I started by looking at CREDIBLE internet sources-which I forgot to bookmark-and go from there. I did find a place that was selling decks of totem-style taro cards. I might get those^^

I looked at some random quizzes online. Probably not the most credible thing. But so far I've come up with wolf a few times and was very close to being a dog surprisingly. I also got several birds (dove, eagle, and crow).
I'll probably go find some more credible sources as well.
