Cheers and Thanks for enjoying, folks!

Small ammounts will always help us to make a living, and the more supported we are, the more we'll make Art instead of looking for another unrelated Job! We don't need much, just enough to keep drawing! (Because that's all we know!)
Regarding the use of this Artwork:
If don't care about Artists, you probably won't read this.
If you do care about Artists, you probably don't need to read this.
So, this is for those who are reluctant:
I can't prevent you from using this Artwork without Authorization.
But I'd like to ask you NOT to use it this way.
Think about it. If you use pieces without giving any credit to the Artist, you will be contributing to the gradual extinction of them, as less and less, they won't be able to live from art and will have to migrate to another profession.
So, if you want to contribute with a more colorful and creative world, support Artists.

The idea is it being a animatronic appendage, controlled by a link in the black carapace to add to the image and display when willed, some emotions. but as a safety measure it snaps right of if you pull on it, as not giving the enemy a leverage in a battle. A 'real' one is more impressive i think.(and easier to sculpt/kit bash)
Well, I've always been more of a starcraft guy, but can admit the 40k designs were the beginning of everything!
Still, I don't like pretty much the warhammer universe. Too depressing! In my head it would be what happens if republican conservatives take over the future.

wow Inert-Ren this is a wonderful piece *claps and smiles* truly makes me wish i could get one like it from you. ^.^;;; payment has always been a pain for me for artists but oh well. kat can dream. anywho this is really well done i can only think of a couple of things that would make this piece better but most of them are unneeded and mostly decorations for his armour *giggles and bows to you* hope to see more in the future! even if i know your not as much of a fan of 40k you still do this quite well :)
you are honestly more then welcome Inert-Ren. and i can only say so much to how awesome your art is *bows to you* considering ya the artist and i feel only like a simple nitpicker *bows again* but i do really love this piece its really awesome :)
i can understand also what you mean, 40k does have its time when the story can be quite dark and alittle depressing, if anything if you care to take a chance i would advise heavily into reading the Ciaphas Cain novels. they are a much more almost satirical look to them, they have there moments where they feel very much part of the universe with that dark to it but add quite a number of humorous points. one of my favorite is in one of the books Cain runs into a tank commander and her unit in a Leman Russ battle tank that has painted on the side of the turret an anthromorphic vixen in a guard uniform with the name "Tank Vixen" under it. that made me laugh quite a bit, its also the same book where he runs into a tech priest of mars who has a mechatendrite(sp) coming from the base of her spine that acts in all reasons as a tail while she he describes has a very feline nature about her... oh and her Name is Felicia *smirks* made me think greatly of a dark stalkers ref when i read that.
:) anyway i do hope to see more of this from you and maybe if i'm lucky one day ill get a piece from you *bows to you* maybe more so if you can make it to eurofurence this year... granted i don't know if thats far away from you or not but :< one can hope.

*shi bows to you lightly* you are the owner of this character very cool *smiles warmly* I have played 40k for many many years. and well.. marine armies are my thing i think i got one of just about every codex that is released! *shi giggles and smiles* now now then. things i would add or change up.
1. the Ultramarine Ultra on his left shoulder pad i would make that a raised piece, not painted on most likely look like marble denoting his rank as Captain to get to have something like that.
2. the sword's hilt is a wonderful choice but given the new design of the Ultramarine Gladius(sp) in the new upgrade kit i almost be willing to trade that winged hilt in for that new design. just me that's your optional choice.
3. try to see if you can add the Roman Knot Mosaic to his cape somehow, even if only the edges :) would look good granted painting it maybe a bitch but *shrugs*
4. i feel you should have tried to make the shoulder guard on the right side still visible under the lion's head. without it being there it just looks like anyone who shoots it the round will go through and into his head which is what those shoulder guards are suppose to help prevent :P that and adding another huge thick layer of armour :P
5. i lastly would find somewhere to add a plate on his armour that has his name on it. maybe under the ultramarine Ultra on his one shoulder. or maybe in script across his chest or one of his legs i guess just somewhere :)
well as i said not that much i would personally change but still awesome piece congratz on getting it.

i will most certainly take those in account. thanks;
i wanted the lionhead large enough/imposing, but it is indeed supposed to be covering a normal shoulderguard. Good point on the sword thing. originally he was wearing a chainsword, but that i thought to be a to simple weapon for a captain, so i asked to change it for a powersword. i forgot/didn't think of to mention the 'roman' style, like the ones in the upgrade sprues they have atm;so it became that one by the artist. A sculptor would most likely make the U symbol like that. I didn't think of that..

understandable, as i said it was just things i personaly would have done but its up to you if you really want to do it :) you still have a beautiful piece of art here and i can only imagine trying to get a model in game for something like this. though i bet Huron's claw from forge world would help to start with. :P just to give ya the lightning claws ... though those are terminator sized.
Fav'ing for it being a 40k piece, but, it's irksome for it being an Ultramarine. I still dislike that chapter; punishing and excommunicating marines because they won a battle with odds highly stacked against them using tactics that didn't follow Codex Astarte's tactics to the T.
Don't know much about it. For me the whole 40k history is irksome to me. A huge pyramid scheme with religious connotations. For me, it is what happens if Right-Winged conservatives take over the future. Shitty permanent state of war with trillions of indoctrinated people dying for nothing.
I only like the armor designs! :P

I used to love dystopias too, specially Fallout. But this was back them, when there were far away from our reality. It felt like experimenting a bit of what could happen if we did things wrong.
Nowdays, here in my country we elected the most conservative congress in the last 50 years. It means they're more old-fashioned than when we lived under the rule of a Military Dictatorship brought through a coup. In six months of government, they're almost merging state and church, things are going BAD, we have churches LITERALLY building armies, and this is allowed by the state. So, when I look at 40k, I see a reality which I want to run away from, it pains me!!
'Course, very personal reasons. Maybe when we're at peace again, I'll be able to enjoy 40k.
