This was an image used in my intaglio class last semester. It was used to create a red and black image, though I don't have any of the prints available to show at this time. The plate this image was etched on would contain black ink within the lines while the entire plate was rolled in a red ink. It created a rather interesting image, but aside from the plate, I think this image by itself is rather beautiful. It captures both sides of Calindra, my Demoness of Sorrow. One side of her represents the side that developed feelings of sadness, sympathy, and love for the mortals that she at first sought to destroy. The other side of her is her true nature, the true monster that sought to sow chaos and sorrow across the world of Alenduria. Both are one in the same, as they both are connected by the same tail.
