Nice work for a short story

Trying. not for everything but if i learn how to use it now i might not have problems later. I don't know why i would have problems but i am weird that way.

You could write everything in word then copy-paste it to notepad

There are actually multiple characters for the ' and " symbols. Some are fancier than others, looking more like a raised/turned comma; while some are just a straight line. The .txt format is only able to display some of those characters, not all. The ones it can't end up as the squares.

Microsoft Word can be inconsistent in which one it adds when you press the ' or " key. There are settings to tell it to only use one or the other, but it gets complicated.

I think you should be able to write the document in Word, then go to "Save As..." and save it as a .txt file, then open it in Notepad and check for odd characters. It's more work, but it'll fix the problem.

Cute. Short. Rather nice, children's tale sort of a approach to the prompt. Goes very well with the picture, the picture and this story has the same atmosphere in them. Nice little piece, I liked reading this.

I liked it. Short to be sure, but nothing wrong in that as it conveyed a complete picture.

Try Firefox as your net explorer - it has a built in word check that seems to work most everywhere.

I can try and make it longer next time. I just didn't know where to go with just one picture. thank you. I do have firefox but I am just stupid sometimes. It says i spelt firefox wrong. Apparently i need to capitalize it but i say screw capitol letters.
