A few days late, I know, but the inspiration struck me tonight and I just ran with it. This is the result. Still, nice to get something out.

I decided to go with the POV being from a Splatoon inkling, simply because I've adored the game ever since I got it, and also since there's no established character that I'd have to try to do my best to portray. And with it being a new IP and all, I invisioned them not quite knowing who the other Nintendo franchises are. This is also where Samus' comment comes from, since it hasn't even been a year since Splatoon has been out. I've also been wanting to do a little story on Splatoon but wasn't sure how to go about it. Seemed like as good of a time as any.
