Well, according to Amethyst, who likes to eat, she apparently can digest, & chooses to. She herself said, "I love turning things to mush inside of me. It feels weird." So, I mean, it wasn't so much of a question if Malachite can digest Peridot so much as whether or not she plans to keep her imprisoned indefinitely, or if she intends to digest a nerdy rock. ;P
