I beg to differ. A gentleman always carried a cane. He was also trained in how to fight with it - and this did not include using it as a cudgel; though in this instance the head more resembles a tomahawk.

You should wear a cape, and whenever someone says/does something you disagree with, yell "Silence you fool!" and tap them on the head with the top of the cane :3
