Kyrie sat on her potty, watching the television. Her favourite cartoon was on, and she smiled happily. from behind her she heard a soft cough, and the young girl turned to look, seeing her father there.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"Watching TV," she replied.
Her father laughed.
"I can see that. I meant, what are you sitting on?"
Kyrie smiled wider, looking proud.
"I'm using the potty!" she said. "I'm doing it all by myself."
Her father nodded, pleased with her new found confidence and walked over, playfully mussing her hair.
"Good girl," he said to her. "I'm very proud."
He stepped back to give her some privacy.
"Just make sure you call me when you're done so i can help you clean up."
Kyrie nodded.
"Yes, Daddy," she said.
Kyrie looked back that the TV and laughed as the characters on screen tumbled and played. Her father was pleased with her, and Kyrie couldn't help but be happy with that. She was so grown up now...
