So after having made this ketch of my char's head ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1689272/ ) and basically realizing that it was the one good sketch I've gdone in years, I figured I'd try my hand at coloring and translating the design into a digital realm. Seeing as how I haven't ever done it before, I'm shocked at how simple it really was, just using the pen tool to outline all the main lines, filling in with flat color, and then using the burn tool, dodge tool, and blurr tool (as well as the occasional smudge and brush) to create all the detail and depth.
