So the crocodile molds were finished before I left in June! and this is what they look like.

They also ended up being a little more difficult to cast and taking more material than I had anticipated. I'm not intending on selling a ton of these guys. Basically they will be a limited run. Right now I have one blank set up hinged, primed and ready to work with that is up for bid!

Here's some spefications of this type of blank!

*intended to be already hinged, (when the hinges cast correctly hence it being difficult to get a perfect cast)
*large face size. large blank. a finished mask in one will definitely turn heads. I suggest using some medium thickness foam all on the inside of the bottom jaw area and forehead for a comfy feel (approx 1/2 inch is good thickness for foam)
*primed and ready to paint up! so fun to paint
*use black or white paintable meshes for the eye ports. I suggest white for a more versatile paint choice!
*tongue is sculpt into the mouth so it just needs to be painted!
*edging left on the top of the top piece and neck of the bottom piece to glue a hood pattern to. This mask works best with added hood patterning. wig, etc! But for special occasional sales all edging can be cut off entirely and the mask can be worn as is.
*requires ONE INCH acrylic cabochons which I will provide on any purchase
*With built in hinges, the top and bottom jaw doesn't entirely sit fully tight together. but it looks fine anyhow!
*for casts where the hinge areas are cut off and you install your own hinges, you can adjust the fit a bit tighter yourself! If anyone was to install their own hinges I would highly suggest flexible hinge material. (glue on inside of blank so as to be seen as much on the outside/ not cover the detail) bolting hinges on is best. and if needed use white apoxie sculpt to cover up the bolt on the outside of the blank and just paint over that! Also white apoxie sculpt for eyelids is a good idea but depending other colors are fine! you can purchase tiny amounts of apoxie sculpt on ebay! (brand is Apoxie sculpt)

*this particular blank weighs 1 pound and 11 oz. but I suspect all full casts to weight as much. with sturdy tight straps glued onto the inside of the mask it shouldn't be a problem. elastic can be glued also on the inside of the top and bottom jaw pieces to get the springyness power you need. (taking scissors or another sharpish object and scoring the inside of the resin where you are gluing is necessary)
*you are bidding on the WHITE BLANK not the painted blank! That is only to show what it can look like all painted up! :)
*1 inch unfinished clear acrylic cabochons will be sent with this blank! I have a set of crocodile eye patterns as well that can be glued to the back of the cabochon with E6000 if you'd like me to send you finished eyes that will be $10 on top of your final bid!
*blank is already hinged AND primed! ready to paint! :)
*top and bottom ridges are in tact for if you make a hood with it!
