From how many Evangelicals obsess over marriage and childbearing to the point of shaming abstinent singles for being single of marrying later, and having children later, and child free marrieds for not having kids. Many Christian have sacramentalised marriage and kids, strongly implying they contribute salvation.

Can't say I've run into that particular section of Christianity myself, though in a weird way I agree with your views on remaining childless. Though I'm wondering more how the anti-female sentiment fits into that.

The anti female sentiment is from people butting in and asking me if I have a girlfriend or wife, when not having either is no one else's business.

That's really no reason to take it out on women, though. I do agree that it's nobody's business, but I'm curious if they're just asking in the context of friendly conversation.
