A canid and a phoenix-dragon dueling out the battle of the ages - Sith vs. Jedi!
Man, I had fun with this one, and I'm so happy with how it turned out! I don't normally draw mammals, and anthro mammals even less, so I am very happy that Aerak (the canid) turned out so well! That upraised paw didn't even require extensive re-sketching - just a few looks at my own hand and it was good! Same with Rida's hands, and I am really thankful the lighting turned out so well on them. : D I know I'm gushing, but this was a really happy series of pleasant circumstances all cobbling together. The painting took 6 hours, which probably was helped by the stark, saturated light sources - it certainly simplified things for me.
Thank you so much for commissioning me, Ridayah - this was a treat and a half to create!

Well just imagine my surprise when I did a double-take at the avatar to realize who drew this. One would never guess you weren't a 'furry artist'.
The lighting must have been fun, and it's sure fun to look at. But I bet you enjoyed doing the action poses too.

Funny story with this one xD I saw the preview image of this when you were streaming the other day and thought "huh.. I have a friend that would have loved that theme/pose" and lo and behold, silly phoenix dragon butt had actually commissioned it lol! Needless to say I am amused :) But this turned out so well, I especially like the details in their clothing/poses. You did an excellent job :)
