The lines look ok but the coloring is messy. The red color in the bg doesn't do much for the fg either. A darker bg would probably look better.
Color takes a while to get the hang of. The best thing that helped me learn was to see what other people were doing and how to get a grasp of what colors work and what don't. Nature has the best color pallets to offer. Look up butterflys, orchids, or sea slugs sometime and you'll see what I mean.
