edit: attempted to fix some of the bike anatomy issues some folks brought up. Thank you. Sometimes ya miss the big things when so focused on the small :)

He just made it past that train as there were no brakes to stop him. That explains the facial expression. Otherwise nicely done :)

The chain is one thing, but how's the rear wheel affixed to the bike? O.o
Theory: Venture borrowed the bike from the factory that assembles them, before they got a chance to finish it.
No handlebar grips either. It's a very barebones bike. :p
That is a fine shrubbery though.

One of those brake cables would normally lead to the front brake. Some bikes only have a rear brake, but then obviously they wouldn't have a forward brake lever. And a bike with coaster brakes would have no visible braking mechanism and you sometimes can find them on single speed bikes like this one.
