This Mongoose is in the same habitat as the lemurs but is too small to be a threat to them unlike their larger cousins, the Fossas. I would have had pictures of them too but they decided to be active today and were running around like ferrets and children kept getting in front of my shots that were too dark to see much; Fossas are nocturnal.
