. Sea Star was a fun loving Water Elf with the ability to control water and travel at will between Earth and the Forgotten Hallows.
. On one fateful day Sea Stars life would change forever. She watched as Fiara a fellow Biterraped, had just entered the Forgotten Hallows through an underwater gateway.
. Sea Star was about to follow Fiara when she noticed the sound of struggle. looking towards the closing gateway she saw that a young girl whom had tried to follow Fiara through had not completely made it. The magic gateway had closed around the girls ankle holding her under water.
. Knowing that this girl would soon drown, Sea Star swam toward her and struggled to pull the girls ankle through.
. By the time Sea Star got the girl to the surface she had fallen unconscious. Using her control of water she cleared the girls lungs. Once Sea star was certain The young girl was safe She dragged her onto the warm beach.
. While in the process of Saving the girl, Sea Star had noted a few things that worried her. The girl was wearing what looked to be some kind of armor. It was of a type she had never seen before. Along with many other markings on it the armor bore a crest, one that did not belong to any family In the forgotten hallows.
. Not knowing whether this girl was a friend or a foe Sea Star decided it was best not to be there when the Girl woke up. Her curiosity however, kept her nearby. hiding in a nearby bush She watched quietly.
. It was almost thirty minutes before the girl stirred and sat up. She looked around then lifted her left arm and began speaking to it. after tapping something on her wrist she repeated occasionally pausing to look around. There appeared to be no malice in the girls voice and the expression on her face was of bewilderment mixed with curiosity.
. For the better part of an hour the girl made no effort to leave the beach that she had awoken on. instead she would pace or do some curious task in between talking to her wrist.
. To Sea Star The girl was seeming less like a threat and more like someone who was lost. Sea Star decided to make her presence known and offer her assistance. Her timing could not have been worse, just as the girl had turned away in her pacing, Sea Star stepped on a fallen twig with a resounding SNAP! .
. The sound instantly startled the girl, making her jump. She also started to shapeshift, and grow white fur. After calming down she reverted back, apologized, and introduced herself as Kaiari.
. when Sea Star asked Kaiari exactly what kind of shape shifter she was. Kaiaris answer made her heart stop wherecats were banished long ago and bringing a banished being into the forgotten hallows was a crime punishable by petrification.
. Sea Star had put herself in a terrible situation. While she had no desire kill or turn Kairi in, there were not many other options coming to mind. Sea Star wished she could just open the gateway between the worlds long enough for Kaiari to get through but that would require more strength than she possessed.
. Kaiari,upon hearing Sea Star explain her plight, calmly thought of a solution. Kaiari made a life vow that if she would allow Kaiari to find her own way home, no harm would come to Sea Star. She agreed hoping that her new friend succeeded in finding her way home.
. It had been almost Kaiari had departed Sea Stars company. She was pleasantly surprised to find the werecat fishing in a stream near the Forgotten castle. The two struck up a conversation. Sea star Was shocked to find that Iris had chosen Kaiari as her eventual heir but at the same time relieved for that meant that she was no longer in danger of the queens wrath.
. After some idle chatter Kaiari mentioned that she had lost a gold locket in a river nearby. She gave Sea Star a good idea as to the location she may have lost it and asked that if she would return her locket if she managed to find it.
. Eager to help her friend Sea star set out to look for the Locket the next morning.
. To any land dwelling being, it would have been difficult to find the submerged trinket, But Sea star was a sea elf. She had the ability to connect with any body of water. Sea Star could move instantaneously from creek to creek and use any body of water as an extension of her senses. It only took her an hour to find the locket.
. Upon Finding the locket Sea Star sensed that it contained a very powerful magic. Not knowing Kaiaris whereabouts She decided to send a messenger to find her. Sea Star had no idea that this decision would put Kaiaris promise to keep her from harm to the test.
. Unfortunately the only available courier to send was an elf that despite her many rejections refused to accept that it was not meant to be.
. Sea Star reluctantly gave the elf her message to Kaiari and reached into her money pouch to pay when unsurprisingly he refused the money and once again asked for her hand.
Sea star threw the payment at him and mad it clear that he was not to ask again.
What Sea Star had not realized was that the Elf had seen the locket and out of rage went to Queen Willow and told her that Sea Star had stolen the locket knowing full well the punishment for such a crime.
. Sea star was waiting for Kaiari not knowing that She had been framed. Fortunately it was Kaiari that arrived first. Sea Star handed her the locket just as Queen Willow rode up.
. The queen had already declared Sea Star was guilty of stealing the locket, and stated that she was condemned to be punished on the spot.
. Kaiari however testified to her innocence. Upon hearing these words The queen was greatly saddened by the truth however she could not go back on her condemnation for it was impossible to go back on her word.
. After much deliberation and pleading (to no avail) Kaiari discovered that Willow had only said that Sea Star would be punished for her actions. At this point with fire in her eyes, agreed that Sea Star should be "Punished for her actions" and requested that she be the one administer it.
. Willow hesitated, but agreed. She handed Kaiari her staff which gave her the power to do anything. she walked up to her and said "Sea Star Queen willow has commissioned me to carry out the 'punishment' for your actions. But before I do I will explain You saved my life the first day I met you so for that you will receive the 'punishment' of power" Sea Stars body lengthened and became dragon like Kaiari continued "You found my locket and returned it to me so for that Your 'punishment' is responsibility, you are now the guardian of the gateway between the worlds"
. Sea Star was surprised that Kaiari had been so creative as to empower her instead of kicking her out or killing her and was further impressed when Kaiari punished the one who had tried to frame her, she did not kill him but left him a choice remain in the forgotten hallows and be intangible to all living things, or leave the Forgotten hallows which would require him to go through Sea Star, and he chose to leave.
. Sea Star was given many opportunities to step down from the position that Kaiari had bestowed on her. however every time she has refused. To this day Sea Star remains a great guardian and a great friend.
