The only completed movement (well, it still needs to be orchestrated properly--this is just a slim chamber wind orchestration of the piece) of my first symphony...which I seriously need to work on...inspired by Tracy Butler's story, "Ainessa."

This is beautiful. Just beautiful. I, like so many others, bear witness to a lot of talented artists here on FA. But your talent is so unique, so individual within this fandom, that is cannot go unrecognized. You've got nothing less than a gift, and you can rest assured that you'll always have a least one person who listens and thoroughly enjoys what you put up here.
Incredible! It's a rare treat indeed to have an artist with as much musical talent as you around, something completely unique in the furry fandom.
You've gotten me very interested in your work. What musical styles do you prefer or think you can accomplish? Do you make soundtracks/scores?

I had never heard this piece before until now. This is one of the best I have heard from you. I wonder what the rest of your Symphony sounds like. I like that it has a lot of elements of a Symphony. A lot of composers just slap the title "Symphony" onto a piece because it sounds like a good title. I am very interested to hear the other movements.
The rest of it is still very much in my head (or indeed, not even written at all). I fear this may be a project I never finish. But yes, there are certain motifs that carry through the movements. It doesn't necessarily follow the classical form of a symphony--it's more of an orchestral soundtrack set to accompany/inspired by the massive literary work by Tracy J. Butler titled "Ainessa."
I still like it. A Symphony doesn't necessarily have to follow Classical form. I think the biggest mistakes composers nowadays make when writing a symphony is they try too hard to sound Classical or they just write it like any other piece and slap on the title "Symphony" to make it sound more attractive and compensate for what the music itself lacks. You however, I like how you approached this symphony and i think it is what a modern symphony should sound like. Even if not completed, I'd love to hear some of the other movements sometime.
