Soooo a while back I had an idea for 
graydiel and sketched him as a sort of belly/sword dancer. He was so kind as to commission me to finish it, and I went all out on it cuz he's awesome and I love his character.
Somewhere along the way it just tribal and badass looking. I never draw detailed clothing so this was kinda a first. Between my mans house decor thats covered in feathers and rocks, watching princess mononoke the other night, and my native shawl thing, there was obviously heavy influence.

He's all like "i bring you the dance of my people", that or its his wedding dance..who knows xD~.
But i do know it looks amazing. The amount of fine intricate detail on his outfit/himself sure is something :o. I love how dynamic it feels too, such an alive sense of motion & flowing fluidity, you captured this handsome chap in all his beautiful splendour perfectly .
