That's right, just what you never wanted! A continuation of my bizarre attempt to write an "interview" with my character Maxine the mouse, based offa questions about her that were mailed to me by a friend.
Personally, I do not feel I fully succeeded with the idea. It was a bit hampering to have to show her emotions/thoughts without resorting to the storycrafter's dodge of telling the audience exactly what she was up to mentally. Show vs. tell, yes. I've heard this before!
On the plus side this solidified Maxine's personality even further. Really all this text does is detail the history of how someone in a rather fanciful setting developed a particular inflation fetish related interest. There is perhaps a touch of risque discussion, but not much.
Any editorial comments in [brackets] are put there to edify the reader on small points that may not be apparent.
There is some reference to the first interview. Cross check at your leisure! Or not....
I do realize the main character's name of Maxine is used by the famous Max BlackRabbit for his alter ego Maxine. Rest assured, there is no relation, similarity, or intended connection whatsoever. When I created the character it was back in the 90's, and I had little knowledge of what was all out there in the fuzzy community.
