Standard Kanein Imperial Footman Kit. Mostly interlocking hard plate of Kevlar encased glass interwoven ceramic trauma plates. This lightweight system affords some dexterity while maintaining a acceptable level of protection and ease of production. The Plates themselves can be removed from the carrier for a wide variety of camouflage patterns as well as support for a cooling system should the Kanein soldier attend a warmer combat zone (Kanein are unable to tolerate temperatures greater than 90F without heat stress/stroke). This system was heavily used despite it's age during the Contact War.
