Me too, it's the first cartoon in a long time that actually drew me in, other than gravity falls, not goign to lie, SU actually helped me figure out my sexuality too. ; / / / ;
Pearl can be such a twit but you end up feeling so sorry for her at the same time QQ

It's so very..balanced! It's appropriate for kids but it's so full of adult-level lessons and ideas. And it's not always happy victories and unrealistic characters-

It promotes all kinds of body types, shows all types of characters as being capable of being strong/smart/kind- I just love the positivity of it all. And that's awesome that it could help you with that! It helped me not be embarrassed about some stuff in my life too, mostly through relating to Rose Quartz but that's not here nor there u w u

YYEAAAHH, but every character has their weaknesses so I hope I don't come off as just complaining about her biasedly. Like, Garnet can overlook things or seem uninterested. Amethyst can be selfish and brash. Pearl can get tunnel vision or be neurotic. And that's just the main three, it's wonderful how they don't 'call out' any one character for being the 'outcast' or the one that does all the bad stuff. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and the characters are changing and growing realistically through the show.

UGH IT'S JUST SO GREAT.
(But yes, I feel awful when she lets on how lonely and lost she is without Rose or what they used to have- it's not healthy but obviously she was either so in love/attached to her that it left her empty OR whatever other reasonable explanation. Plus, Rose has only been gone maybe 12ish years and for a Gem who has lived longer than the human race, that has to feel like just a week or even less.)
