WHY AM I JUST NOW HEARING ABOUT THIS?!
YEsss all the October books! I'm struggling between doing inks for most of them and full-color pages only once and a while, or taking on the task of doing all full-color.
I like full color better, but I'm probably more likely to actually FINISH this book if I do inks xD THE STRUGGLE SKJA:LFD

I used to draw him all the time for Halloween then I kind of slacked off for a few years TTmTT
XD I know that feel! I've always been a black and white person so I am trying to force myself to get back into traditional coloring D: what kind of paper/book is this? by the by?

It's a Mead sketchbook! They used to sell them in Wal-Marts for super cheap (like, $3) But they stopped carrying them. I find mine at Office Max, the big ones are $11 but the smaller one (like this- I think it's a 6x4) is about $6? Either way, it's a good brand! I've used them since middle school, pretty much.
The only other thing I use is cardstock, and that's loose leaf

That's the good thing about them! They aren't crazy expensive, they are good quality, and they are relatively easy to get your hands on.
And the convention pieces you got from me were on cardstock! It's crazy how it's just something you find on the printer isle, but its so great for art. I hear bristol is like the 'art snob' equivalent of it, but carstock has never steered me wrong so I'm stickin' to it u w u

Good to know! I have been using the cheapie sketch books from Barnes and Noble and I grew fond of them really fast! Never been a fan of "Normal" art books .3. I'm definetly gonna give these 'ens a looksie
I never liked Bristol bleh, too smooth to me, the card stock seems... like the same stuff but with a rougher type of surface if that makes any sense. when I got 'em I was like .o. oooh what's this? I like

I have a Barnes and Noble sketchbook! Actually I have two right now, one that has 'the wave' for a cover and one that is black and just has 'Sketch' on the cover (Which I bought because back in '11 I started on a comic that's called sketch)
I'm glad you were cool with it! I'm not one for the 'finest quality art books' either, they're just intimidating and they make you feel like everything you draw has to be perfect or you're wasting paper. Too much pressure!

Oh I have the wave one ^^ I have three: The wave, a black, red, and grey flower one, and a black one. The wave is general sketches and crap, the flower one is adult comics, art and random comics, and the black one is my main comic (because I wanna put my own cover on it :D )
Haha that is cute :3
XD I get that! For me it's more of... the ones I have gotten would get holes into the paper because they are made to last, but they weren't made to last me... (I get a little nuts when I work .3.) They would smear, rip, fall out, I don't know if I got the cheap fine quality books or what but they were not friendly to me
