Stego-Tooths use their long fangs to break open shells/coconuts, attack their prey and to mark their territory. Fang size determined by age and health. May have smaller or larger body type than the ones shown.
Markings/colors depend on location.

1. Sand/Desert - Natural colors w/ minimal markings, diurnal (active during day), slitted eyes for taking in small amounts of light. Mostly scavengers. Plates on back always darker color than fur color (for absorbing sunlight).
2. Jungle - Bright colors w/ stripes or spots, crepuscular (active at twilight/dawn and dusk), bigger pupils for night vision. Mostly omnivorous, prefer fruits and shellfish.
3. Nomads - Black/white/grey bodies w/ brightly colored plates on back, nocturnal, black sclera for best night time vision. Excellent night vision/very stealthy hunters, shaped pupils. Strictly carnivorous w/ tendency to cannibalize.

There are no differences in gender of Stego-tooths. Females, males and non-binary individuals look the same. Genitals are unknown/up to buyer or creator.
