I haven't drawn a bear in a while since they're not as common as cats/canines. While I do stick to my style, I do show sketch and inks for approval, so there's the opportunity to tweak it a bit if it looks off.

Yeah unfortunately I tried that before but somehow when it got to the coloring stage it just made my panda look terrible, and it made me sad. So while there are artists that I love, if they do not draw bears I get very nervous about trying to get commissions from them. so I essentially go bear hunting in peoples galleries to find new commissioning opportunities

I don't blame you, although unfortunately that usually means the artist won't get examples cause it's never commissioned :P There's a few things I can draw but it's so rare people ask me to, like birds.
