The (almost) complete head of my Argus fursuit! Still needs a floofy neck.
The outer "skin" of the mask was made using a paper mache mix (flour/salt/water) with newspaper strips followed by a layer of white printer paper, then painted with acrylics and sprayed with paint sealant. I also used the paper mache to add extra ridges on the eyes and muzzle area and some texture.
The resin base under it all is made by Dream Vision Creations, as was the jawset, tongue, black horns and eye blanks. Everything else was attached/painted and sculpted by me. :)
*I originally was going to fur the entire head, hence earlier images of the Argus mask in my gallery have more foam and duct tape. However, I realized it would look too poofy and removed all the duct tape intended for the fur patterning and nose foam so I could paint/paper mache the face instead.
