The KV-9, designed by Stavros Kypriakos with an engine designed and developed by Sally Volstead, was first unveiled as the first-line fighter for the Rain Island Naval Syndicate's Air Arm in 1935. It was a rugged, dependable and maneuverable aircraft with 4 machine guns and a top speed of 265 mph. It is shown here with the insignia and livery of the Spontoon Islands Militia.
