Just recently got this 1980 Chevy el camino, she needs quite a bit of love but I'll have her road worthy in no time, though she'll get a major face lift once I can find a new front end. Oh! And if anyone would like to put their 2-cents in, is it a car or a truck? I say car ^^

Chevy el camino,Chevy el camino!gimme gimme gimme .
ill gave it love;). i see a 350 big block or 454 ad a nice Edelbrock going very nicely under that hood and some very nice dartboard rams off of a Firebird . the white paint job gives me a few ideas as well.i admit worst vehicle I ever owned was a 1986 GM short wheelbase truck but the ones sitting behind your El Camino is definitely making Me smile.i spent nearly 12 years and gave up trying to get an El Camino. There was a group of vehicles that I've been trying to get sense I was 16 and I've given up. It's like they're cursed or something LOL. Worst was the rampage i drove it approximately 100 feet the whole time I owned it and I've never got my hands on one sense. i don't know if I could ever bring myself to own another rearwheel drive GM i just get too attached and they don't last here in Nova Scotia!!!ive technically had a Monte Carlo for while then I got a 1980 Grand Prix that got road off by a logging truck. Then I had a 1987 capris shortly after I painted it black the shows supernatural rolled out. You don't want to know how many people Asking. Was I trying to copy the car from that show. After that I had a 1972, Jimmy convertible with the full removable top that looked like something out of mad Max God was that thing fun and a complete rat Rod LOL. After that I made the mistake of t 86 short wheelbase or I should say my father made the mistake. I didn't want anything to do with it. After looking at it and my father bought it and pretty much dumped it on me whether I wanted it or not thing was a complete nightmare damn near killed me more times than I can count. The joke was, how much work had been done on it before I got it parts alone were worth way more than was paid for it but it was like the damn thing just wouldn't stay fixed and Having all sorts of bizarre problems with no logical reason. It ended up throwing a Rod despite nearly the entire engine was rebuilt.i spent the better part of several years trying to get a cab for it and ended up selling it .i started driving Dodge after it through the rod. Ended up with my grandfather's Jeep Cherokee and i never really liked it very much. And up getting rear-ended by a street racer. After that I started driving minivans .oo god don't get me into it! I really don't like front-wheel-drive vehicles very much.i use minivans for work.i . At one point got a Mercedes had that several months when my father was driving it. He got sideswiped.i bought another cheap Mercedes but it's a really nice car ended up letting my father have it because I am always uncomfortable about driving it. It's like I said are really nice car previous one was beaten like a redheaded stepchild. So it wasn't like I could scratch or damage it anymore than was Artie done. I got my hands on a full-size four-door router wheel drive Dodge charger which is why my father ended up with the Mercedes. It's very similar to my 1987 capris classic and its quite a bit of fun to drive. Despite everybody whining it's a V-6.
furthermore, the cards got a boatload of cargo roomLOL. That damn car is packing a queen size bed in the back when you full the seats down wink wink.
For the record and alchemy no is still a car, the one you have. In particular, was modeled from the Malibu .
Balks wagon made a knockoff of the El Camino from the Volkswagen rabbit.i don't know the name of the thing I've seen two of them damn they're cute.!
Ford Mustang back in the 60s made a version of the El Camino, they only made about 1500 I Cantor member the name El Toro or something like that they're extremely rare.
i am a GM man trap driving Mercedes and Dodge products because I can't get a good rearwheel drive GM that I can get parts for. It's getting extremely difficult to get parts for a rearwheel drive GM in Canada. Forget about going to the salvage yard to get parts. I can are member when you just had to go through a few backyards of firms to get parts. They cleaned all those vehicles out about nine years ago. Almost nobody's got old or wheel drive GM in their field anymore around here.
i would still love to have another full-size Jimmy or get my hands on a rare wheel drive GM cargo van problem with the cargo vans is the resale value would knock you down, which is why I've been driving Dodge minivans other reason I keep getting the minivans is the gas mileage. A beaten to Halvor wheel drive Dodge van will run you between 3000 and 5000 if you do a lot of work you can usually pick up the Dodge Caravan between 500 and 1000 one that I'm presently driving normally retails for five grand used. I paid 1000 .love the car;).what u doing too it?
