After that rather serious set of pictures, I was understandably ready to return to more humorous fare. And so I created a list of several ideas I wanted to undertake. Among them was this one, and I had a lot of fun working on it!

I didn't mention this in the last set of drawings, but I actually reevaluated how I draw ponies before I started them. I knew they had started to look... odd. Too skinny or too... something. I didn't know what. So I went back to the sketch I had made of Ambrosia and looked at the structure, and I discovered that I had deviated significantly from the show style! So I traced out the circles that made up the pony's body, and from there I created a guide for proportion. And while Ambrosia's drawings were a good test of this, I think by the time I had gotten to this one I had pretty much nailed the proper proportions.

Twilight sure didn't know what to expect when she opened up Rainbow Dash's diaper to check her, but I doubt she was prepared to be hit with quite that array of odors...
