I did some of my weekly work, fixing lawn mowers, with a family friend Harald who owns a business doing so. He's also a gun guy who knew about a nearby shooting range. We went there after work.
We shot his 3.2 Pistol, and 45' break-action single shot rifle w/ scope. Now I'd shot a WW2 era German Kar98 that my friend in Washington owns, I think it had just about as much kickback as the rifle today.
Anyway, today was my first time ever firing a pistol, I'm left handed as well. So on the right target, the patch of shots in the lower right were my initial shots. After that I adjusted my compensation and aimed for the 10 o'clock spot on the outer red-area and that's where the patch in the middle went. This was shooting from about 7-10 yards.
The 3 bigger shots were from the 45 caliber rifle at about 20 yard. Happy to see I got spot on with the horizontal, I just didn't have enough practice to compensate for the bullet fall I think.
All in all it was fun. : 3

Well I figured, you're too much of a piece-loving bird to like such things. Not going to be stereotypical and say it's because you're a girl though, because I know there are plenty of girls that like to shoot. You're just such a fragile and gentle loving soul to like destructive things. <3 :)
Hehe it's not exactly the thing here, oddly enough I used to passionately play Duck Hunt. No blood - no problem generally, that's my main rule. x3 I've actually held a real gun twice, one was a sport rifle (which I hated for the reason stated earlier), and my uncle's pistol of some sort (empty but still pretty heavy to hold with one hand, perhaps because back then I was like, half of my current age), my knowledge about this stuff is so terribly weak it's laughable xD But everytime I held such weapon I was like "wait, I'm holding a gun? What? Whaaaaat? :O" XD Wish you could've seen my confused face back then.
