TOBIAS - Gingitsune, Obscure Furry Finds
This blog series is about the anime that I've seen both past and present. I will be sharing my opinions and thoughts about the featured anime series. For 'Obscure Furry Finds', it will always be about older anime series that have not recently aired in Japan. Within, I give a light summary of the first series as a whole, so there will likely be some degree of spoilers. I also try to spend some time talking about the furry characters themselves, and their contribution to the series.
These posts will be less frequent than the other two blog types, and will supplement as needed. The reviews may also have inconsistencies or a lack of detail at times due to how long it will usually have been since I last have watched the series in question. However, their main goal is to enlighten others to their existence so that they can have a chance to experience it for themselves. Some will be VERY obscure, while others will be relatively mainstream.
While I won't be ascribing any direct ratings here, you can always check my list of previously watched anime to see what my typical tastes are like. Note that this list is not updated except once or twice a year: Tobias Amaranth's MyAnimeList

I'm sure you can find it somewhere out there. I torrent everything so that I never lose access to it. :) https://bakabt.me/ is a great place for finding batch torrents of older series.
You're only at risk on torrents if you're getting things with .exe / .zip type files, and even then only if you're getting highly-unseeded obscure things. In all of my browsing, I can't think of one instance that I got an unsafe torrent.
That said, you're much more likely to get malware from the sites providing the torrents themselves. You have to be extra careful and observant on finding the right download button. Sites like bakabt and tokyotosho have no problems at all. Even places like piratebay and kiackasstorrents are essentially safe. When you start ending up at backwater torrent sites, that's when things start to become cloudy and gross. It's still possibly to find a torrent on those places that actually matches what they say it's supposed to match, but for the most part if I can't find it at a mainstream torrent site, I don't bother.

Ah, I'm sure you're right, but it's mostly the principle of it that keeps me from using them. ^^ I know it's illegal, and there are times where I'd like to support the artist(s) by buying the official release. Plus, I love collecting movies and anime and putting them on a shelf, as well as the commentary and bonus stuff if they have them. ^.^ You can't get that with torrents, but again, that's just my preference. XD I'm not against they're uses, in fact it could be helpful for watching the more obscure shows or ones that are too expensive or rare to buy officially. Also, I'm super tight about anything that I download to begin with, so there's that. ^^;
