Hey there crew! Minor naichan life update ^^
Over the last two weeks I have been working hard on this pice and a few others as I've been invited to be in an art book called white cloud worlds. They asked for one of my old ones, but since it was a colab i decided to do it again~
OLD VERSION
Its been a while since i took a piece up to print quality. but i think it was worth it to have one of my better pices sitting next to Greg Broadmore and nick keller, some of the local tallent that worked on the designs in Lord of the rings.

Other than that we nominally had our first comicon NZ. Really it was just the same trade show we always have ^^; but the artist ally is always good fun, and filled with original works! Baby went through and had a blast with all the people in costume ^^ she got so excited laughing and running through the con that she she tuckered her self out almost instantly and fell asleep XD
In other news, there was a guy there that i had known for years who i found out was a comic publisher and distributer, who wants to see my portfolio. Im in two minds about traditional publishing, i know they can really cut you the short end if your not careful, but it never hurts to show someone your portfolio, right? XD It would be wierd to go through traditional publishing after being an independant for so long, but I doubt itll just pan out so easy ^^' so we'll see
On that note, im keen to get galleon up an running again! NEARLY to the point where i can start streaming production again, AND ive finnally got 4 days of childcare sorted out. Now that this White Cloud Worlds book is out the way, im looking forward to getting things back up and running at a regular speed!

More Galleon, more Puppy love game, more commissions and the lot! And hopefully if i can keep making enough to pay the rent, ill be able to keep making art for all my awesome watchers, friends, fans and sempais here. *snoogles*

*hugs* XD You were prolly the second of third artist i ever followed on deviant art like nearly ten years ago, so i have a lot of respect for your works and have followed your career. Bravo for getting dragon fest done and printed, thats a LOT of work and its all so much fun to read. Ive been sharing it with friends who also love it too! This is some seriously stunning quality! As always, I adore the older anime vibe you give off in your work. This piece is gorgeous, and it gives me such a nostalgia rush for the times when I'd go to the fancy anime import store 45 minutes from my house, and look for Magic Knight Rayearth wallscrolls. I think it's the lighting that really puts on the final polish, but seriously, the whole thing is just fantastic. I'm glad you took the time to make this and show it to us.
You remember back in the day of hording shitty Jpegs from your favorite anime? Like the lowrez screen caps? Oh man. I still have a folder full of that nonsense. I even printed them all out when i was in highschool. That book is now such a time machine XD Its still prolly the one i reference the most. Thank you so much for such a heart felt response TTwTT~ Its been a long time since I've been pressured on quality rather than time. I wish i could just spend forever on my pieces like when i was young.... CURSE YOU CAPITALISM!!!
Oh god, I used to print out every single possible picture of Trunks from DBZ that I could find and put it in a folder. I feel bad for how much ink I used up (sorry parents).
I hope in the future you're able to do more pictures where the quality takes precedence over the time. Maybe if it's something you just do once every couple months, it might work out? You can always sell the picture as a print; I know I'd buy a print of this in a hearbeat.
