Still better to fix it before it becomes major.
Mine came on (not blinking) and the intake manifold was failing so I bought a K&N air filter and it hasn't come on again and the manifold seams fine aside from a small hole that may have been the issue.

The bad end result was almost the same though as he tried to jump out the open window as I was driving 70. Lucky for him I anticipated his actions and closed the window.

I had the opposite and had a grasshopper fly into my open passenger side window at 75mph and land on the seat. Pretty incredible hole shot on that one.
