SURPRISE! MASKS! (also title refers to a group of ravens. I wish they were crows so I could be like "be part of a murder huehuehue")
Basically these were a collaborative effort set up before I was on hiatus with
toxikooncreations, my boyfriend and myself!
I was intending on having all four completed and then posting up that way. However, Not having a vehicle for 3 months now. Things have been difficult. So we are looking around locally for a used vehicle that we can rely on unlike our older sad little car that just kept dying on us.
ANYWAYS. I have one mask finished! the hoods for the other three are completely sewn and just need shaving, application. and each other mask needs final detailing, airbrushing etc!
So here are the specs!
*entirely black hinged raven bases
*each mask has follow eyes!
*each mask has a color theme. That means most details are influenced by the theme color. Such as: eyes, light coloration of the feathering (fur) and the corners of the beak
*No real feathers are used on these masks! only fur painted to appear feathery in texture!
*luxury shag and elements of black monkey shag are the furs used!
*silicone tongues
*fully padded and lined. lovely vision!
*zipper all the way up to the top of the head.
*hoods can fit a 24 inch head. straps can be adjusted to fit any head size! Remember each hood is already finished. so there is no fur editing.
I will not paint any special markings on any of these masks. They will be finished to my own artistic liberty in the manner that I had originally intended on finishing them!
Each raven mask slot is only $550! if paid all at once! If paid in payments of half up front and half later, the price will be $600. Shipping is not included and will depend on location. $18 extra for US and $30 extra for international!
Regardless of the purple raven technically being finished. Each mask must be completed before I send any of them out. I will get photos of each and hopefully a group shot before they are sent out. Estimated completion and mailing date is around September 1st! (keeping buffer time as I have some commissions needing finishing soon as well! However each mask has all parts needed to be completed. they only need to be assembled and finalized.
You will also receive a headshot badge with your head! and also a balaclava!
Color choices are first come first serve. However if you are unable to pay your color choice is invalid if another buyer would like that color and has the payment needed. Basically first to pay gets first choice of color. Holding may be possible but must be negotiated. Please send me a note if you are interested!
I haven't come up with names for them. I wanted to think of something having to do with the colors but I couldn't figure out anything in particular! color related names are suggested! but you the buyer will name your raven. Which will be put onto the badges before sending!

Gosh these are absolutely fantastic, I wish I could throw all the money at you for them. The purple one is pure love though, just something about the way you did the purple in the eyes kind of gives it that arcane/magic feel to it.

Name ideas!
Odin (from Norse mythology) had two ravens- Huginn ("thought") and Muninn ("mind" or "memory")
In reference to Edgar Allen Poe you could use any real combination of names (Edgar, Poe, Quoth, Nevermore)
In Greek legend, princess Arne was bribed by King Minos with gold. She was turned into a jackdaw (another bird of the corvidae family) for her avarice.
In Irish mythology, crows are symbols of Morrigan (goddess of war and death).
Unfortunately, the majority of crows in mythology aren't given names (simply referred to as "Crow"). There are a few names in existence, however, that mean raven or crow - http://www.meaning-of-names.com/sea.....en&stype=1
Sorry for the huuuuge comment XD I just have fun naming things!

Unfortunately, with so few named ravens/crows/corvids in general (in mythology and stories) it's bound to happen that at least one or two share names within the fandom :X
I mean, even some of my characters share names (even ones with more unique names)- although some are more common than others.
I'm 90% sure there's also a ravensona somewhere named "Quoth". Bound to happen XD
