While it might look like an ordinary cat suit you must remember that all modern feline species, lions, tigers, panthers, etc. in this universe are either intelligent or don't exist. There are very primitive felines and canines that fill the same niche, including pets, but they are similar to species you might find in our world about one million years ago. A common form of primitive feline that is kept as a pet is the Nintanni. This outfit is based loosely on that species. Of course the suit is white so it matches Petina's fur very nicely.

Well it is couple of things. One, she is very confident in what she is and enjoys exploring new viewpoints and experiences. Two, she is the only character I have who can see the fourth wall and knows that she existed in the subconscious of someone else's mind. She is also aware that she is one of my favorite characters and therefore loves to rummage around in the odd corners of my mind and see what is in there.
