Reel Big Fish - I dare you to break my heart
I just wanted to doodle one more character/lyric thing before bed tonight. I don't know if anybody remembers, but a while back I had that Axolotl (Billy) character and a Hermit crab (Gregor)
I've wanted to come back to those two, but I don't like how Gregor was designed. I kinda want to tweak the both of them, but I want a more radical change for Gregor.
so moving away from the crustacean group, i'm just doodling him as a pufferfish instead.
I'm... not sure why to be honest, that's just another critter on my list to try and anthro sometime.
And I don't even think he's quite puffer-y enough here, so that's why it's going in scraps.
(though the meta joke is he'd be a depressed pufferfish with rarely any reason to inflate so... YEAH, COMEDY SORT OF)

to be honest, it's actually FELT better to draw again.
there was just this long stretch of time where I didn't have a working tablet, my hands hurt from work, I was having some mental issues for a while
then a few weeks ago I just went "fuck it." and went out to buy a new tablet.
It's genuinely helped me feel more well adjusted.
