Who is to say Furries just have fur. Most furry artist (some really popular ones at that) just draw furries with colored skin. All shiney, no fluff, no fur, etc.
Makes perfect sense when you think of furries as humans with a tail and colored skin. Not my ideal furry concept, but a popular way to draw furries none the less.
