I think it's really interesting. Have you ever tried doing her in realism? As if she had a skeleton and muscles beneath her? What animals is she made up of? If she had realistic eyes, what animal's eyes would they look like?

Well shes showing the neat/adoreable part but its a little too early to say just yet to be honest due that its subject to change...have you tried Prayer beads / Monk beads around her neck?

OC design gradually changing over time is kind of inevitable, especially if the character is close to your heart; we're always changing, so they do as well. Incorporating regressive qualities from half a decade ago into the design must feel slightly strange though? Like some wacky, preterite, deja'vu, full-circle feeling? XD That said, I've always liked the veemon-esque mouth look. Eyes are expressive, but the mouth and muzzle shape contribute so much towards character, which I guess is why you miss it.

It's difficult thinking of things to add, but can't go wrong with teeth, claws and gemstones for accessories. Perhaps fiddle around with colour gradients on the body/legs. (ever drawn her as a cat for the lulz?) XD

Maybe it's just the angle, but I like the bottom right, and middle left... and between the neck floof and the mouth, the design reminds me slightly of floatzel, except way cuter.

I thought about all that too, but it's the smile that made her her when i made her 5 years ago. I kinda did do a loop in my life though, I fell backwards through a depression not unlike my first one and now that it's over I'm as happy as I was when I was a kid XD it's a strange feeling but I'm not complaining about it or looking to change it any time soon. Thanks for the insight!

She's cute either way. =3 Personally, all of the portraits are cute, but that's just me. I'm not so familiar with her, so I wasn't not sure how much she has changed over the years, but she certainly looks better this way. She looks way more expressive.
