maybe different procedures in locations. I have to go to normal doctor to get refills. neurologist prescribe but general doctor provides them. I want off this ride

Oh I get prescribitions from psychiatrist but to get the actual meds its from a pharmacy but yeah i feel you ha tis terrible

maybe ask doctor about it, it's miserable to go without suddenly from not tapering down. Sounds like you know the feel because you have brain zaps. Good luck whatever you do.

Can you not go to a doctor or another psychiatrist and ask for a refill? If you bring the bottle/packaging as proof, they'll be more than happy to give it to you.

Also, you know you can take your pill bottle to a local pharmacy, explain the situation, and they'll usually give you a few meds to last a couple days until you can see a doctor for a more formal refill.

I can try to taper but the meds dont work anymore and im convinced theyre evil anyway

Definitely taper! It still sucks in terms of the mood swings, but the other stuff should happen less.

Be careful. SSRI withdrawal is a gnarly beast. You'll also need to be really introspective for awhile and evaluate if you're functional without them. Good luck onto the path of independence from them tho!
