(OUT OF DATE) Captain Reference Sheet
Ahh... My baby finally has her own ref sheet...!
Name: Captain
Gender: Identifies as Female.
Age: Still Extremely Young (80-100 years old)
Species Traits: Common Dutch Angel Dragon. She has a strangely minimal number of spines, horns and feathers, located only on her tail and head.
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 120 lbs
Wingspan: 4 feet
Sounds/Communication: Captain speaks in Squeaks, more reminiscent to a mountain Lion, chuffs like a tiger when pleased, growls, squawks, roars, snarls, and hisses. She is extremely vocal but does not verbally speak any languages. Captain is also particular about her body language and is not afraid to communicate her aggressions, fears or joy through it.
Breath: Fire Cracker Flames (Think of Firework Sparks)
Powers (If Any): The usual DAD floaty capability
Personality: Exuberant and playful, Captain is patient and adventurous. She loves to fly twirls in the sky and explore to her heart's content, and tends to be gentle with children, although she's usually not the best company for them. She is considerably patient with humans, which is surprising given her prior experiences with them. Captain is not a fan of confrontations of any kind but is known to give off a very frightening impression when angered. She is extremely well-tempered, and when angered, it's taken quite a lot to build up to that.
History: Historically, Captain was hatched and reborn into the service of mankind on the front lines of World War I. She learned how to use her firepower to defend her comrades and spent most of her time setting her enemies ablaze. During her reign, Captain's allies received minimal to no injuries, and gave her many medals and honors for her courage and willingness to protect. They actually hadn't bothered to give her a real name at the time, and instead dubbed her with her earned rank of a Captain.
Once the wartime was over, Captain's friends all parted ways, leaving her alone to wander the Earth for an extended period of time. She soared over seas, rolled in the grassy plains and breathed fresh air that was not, for the first time in her life, being rattled with mortar shells and gunfire.
By the time the second World War took place, Captain was more familiar with her peacetime behavior than her protective wartime behavior, and once again found her comrade-in-arms. The strange thing, however, was that their enemy was using new chemicals, weapons, and techniques, riddling her tactics and getting her injured more than once. Captain was soon told to be responsible by reconnaissance missions and setting weaponry and ammunitions ablaze instead of being involved in the actual battles. Upon Captain’s return, she discovered a good number of her original platoon had been terribly injured, maimed, or died in their last operation during her absence, causing her to feel severe heartbreak and guilt.
She aggressively tackled her old role as protector of her remaining comrades as she mourned the others, zealous in cheering them up, defending them from other soldiers and commanders, taking their jobs on missions as well as her own and overall running herself ragged.
Captain assisted heavily during her active duty and played a relatively fundamental role in winning a vast majority of battles during the war, and was one of the first in the concentration camps to assist the sick and the dying.
She was scarred during this time, understanding the potential cruelty of mankind and quickly deigned for retirement with her squadron when the war was declared over.
Captain continues to spend her life exploring and spent the rest of her time with her friends from war, staying with them all the way up to their death, where she discovered she could traverse to the Aether and follow their souls up to Paradise, but never enter it due to her species’ banishment. She continues to visit the gates of Paradise in the hopes of one day seeing her friends again, although it is extremely unlikely.
To this day, Captain has remained somewhat wary of entering the battlefield with humans, instead taking on the role of an entertainer, explorer, adventurer and nurturer.
Quirks:
•Captain collects Military coins and other military memorabilia due to her past.
• The only thing she carries for sure to this day from her War Days is a Silver Star-shaped medal, gifted to her uniquely. She carries the Star around her neck proudly to remind her of the honor of working with her friends.
• She has history of feeling comforting the distressed souls around her in the Terra and saving multiple souls from harming or killing themselves.
